Software Freedom Day is a global event with over 100 countries participating. Canonical - Canonical, Ltd. was the primary sponsor of the Linux distribution named "Ubuntu" with a two-year sponsorship agreement with SFI for 2005 and 2006. This sponsorship has provided SFD teams around the world with thousands of CDs of Free Software, and helped provide t-shirts and balloons as well. We are proud to announce Canonical as continued sponsors for 2007.
